BC Family Benefit (BCFB)

Tax-free monthly payment from the BC government for families with children under 18. Starting July 2026, families earning less than $30,176 receive increased payments starting at $1,750 per year for the first child. Paid automatically if you file your income tax return and receive the Canada Child Benefit. Amount depends on family income and number of children. No separate application needed.
